Bio
Brent Woodruff is an Executive Vice President in CBRE's Global Corporate Services Group, and is a leader in providing integrated services to corporate clients. Combining portfolio and strategic planning with proven transaction management processes, Mr. Woodruff has been integral in designing and implementing real estate plans for his clients resulting in significantly reduced occupancy costs. He has been the single point of contact for companies such as Cox Enterprises, Cox Communications, General Electric Company, General Motors, HD Supply, IBM, Metropolitan Life Insurance, and Verizon Wireless.
Currently, Mr. Woodruff leads and manages the transaction management teams for CBRE on the General Electric and HD Supply accounts. His involvement includes developing long term strategic plans, process improvements, creative transaction structuring. Mr. Woodruff has assisted clients with synthetic leases, tax deferred exchanges, condemnation proceedings, build-to-suits and sale/leasebacks. Mr. Woodruff has also directed site selection processes including analysis of local demographics, labor markets, economic incentives and real estate transaction structuring. Recently he has developed office consolidation plans in multiple markets on behalf of clients working real estate, facilities, project management and human resource leaders.
Prior to joining CBRE in 2003, Mr. Woodruff was the Managing Director for Grubb & Ellis' Corporate Services Practice Southeast. Prior to Grubb & Ellis, he was a Senior Manager with Arthur Andersen's Real Estate Consulting Practice in Atlanta.
Mr. Woodruff has consistently been recognized by CBRE and within the industry as an Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors Top 10 Producer for Office Tenant Representation and Industrial Tenant Representation. He has also been a consistent member of the CBRE Colbert Coldwell Circle, which is an exclusive honor only open to the top 3% of CBRE's brokerage processionals.
