Brad Burns serves as a senior vice president of Northmarq’s Phoenix regional office, which he joined in 2021. Brad assists in the origination of debt and equity for owners of commercial and multifamily real estate, with a dedicated specialization in multifamily, affordable and senior/healthcare properties. Brad's extensive experience with HUD insured loan products affords clients specific expertise navigating the HUD loan process from origination all the way to closing.

Since starting in production in 2014, Brad has originated nearly $1 billion with HUD, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, as well as conventional financing.

Prior to joining Northmarq, Brad was senior director at Walker & Dunlop’s FHA group for four years and at Berkadia’s FHA group, as senior director for six years. Brad also previously served as an FHA MAP-approved underwriter while at Berkadia. He also has experience as an associate with Burns & Company.

Brad earned a Bachelor of Science degree in real estate finance from the University of Missouri-Columbia, College of Business. He is an FHA MAP-approved underwriter.
