Bio

Based in Chicago, Boris Shraybman serves as a Managing Director within Newmark's Midwest practice. Mr. Shraybman's main focus is on serving corporate, private, and institutional clients in the sale and lease of Office and Industrial Assets located throughout the Midwest region. With over 20 years of industry experience, Mr. Shraybman has completed in excess of $4 billion worth of transactions including investment dispositions and acquisitions as well as corporate lease and sale deals.

 

Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Shraybman served as Director at the capital markets services group for UGL Equis. In this capacity, he was in charge of sale-leaseback transaction execution and underwriting for corporate clients. Before UGL Equis, Mr. Shraybman was employed at Orix Real Estate Capital, the U.S. real estate investment arm of one of Japan's largest public financial services firms. At Orix, Mr. Shraybman was instrumental in executing and underwriting dozens of acquisitions totaling over $300 million, including office, industrial and multi-family deals located across the United States. Prior to Orix, Mr. Shraybman was part of the Midwest Capital Markets Group at Trammell Crow Company where he was involved in sales transactions totaling $1.2 billion in value and encompassing over 17 million square feet.

Mr. Shraybman received a Master of Business Administration degree from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University with concentrations in Real Estate and Strategy.

 

Mr. Shraybman graduated from the Honors Program at Bryant University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a concentration in Finance. Additional fields of study included Computer Information Systems and Psychology.
