Benjamin McGrath

Benjamin, President and Chief Operating Officer at EJME, previously held the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of the company since mid-year 2000.

Prior to joining EJME, Mr. McGrath was a Managing Director of the Real Estate & Lodging Investment Banking group at Chase Securities Inc. where he covered a variety of public and private real estate companies in the retail, office, industrial and residential property sectors. Mr. McGrath joined Chase in 1984 (then Chemical Bank) and held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in the real estate banking function, eventually being promoted to co-head of the Global Real Estate Banking Group.

His experience spans a wide range of credit, advisory and financing transactions including: construction, M&A, direct property sales, joint venture structuring, lease financings, rated transactions, mortgage-backed and surety-backed transactions as well as principal investments. Notable New York City transactions involved 1345 Avenue of the Americas, 75 East 55th Street: Park Avenue Tower, One New York Plaza, The World Trade Center and The 42nd Street Urban Renewal Area.
