Bio
Ben Marcus joined the CBRE Oakland office in 2003 focusing
on investment sales of multifamily and retail properties along the I-80/880
Corridor. Ben’s thorough understanding the leasing, operations and financial
aspects of multi-housing and retail properties, along with his diligent work
ethic and “deal creation” philosophy, bring benefits to each client he
represents.
As a landlord and investor himself, Ben brings each client
relationship extensive personal and professional knowledge of the East Bay real
estate market. His extensive network of contacts – cultivated over years of
active and aggressive sales in the region – means that he can reach potential
buyers and sellers quickly and efficiently. Ben’s in-depth knowledge of
lenders, brokers and contractors, as well as real estate transaction from start
to finish, is what underscores his personal commitment to each and every
client.
A Berkeley native, an alumnus of the University of
California, Berkeley, and a licensed attorney, Ben employs for each and every
client the full spectrum of marketing, personal outreach and communications
strategies on every sale. It is this consistency and performance that earned
Ben the CBRE Oakland office "Rookie of the Year" award in 2003 and consistent
success thereafter.
