Ben Weddington is a Vice President with the Debt & Structured Finance group of CBRE's Capital Markets division. Mr. Weddington is based in the firm's Atlanta, GA, office and originates acquisition and recapitalization financing for small to mid-market commercial real estate including multifamily, owner/user, office, retail and industrial assets. He is also a designated producer for CBRE's multifamily lending platform that originates and directly funds small balance loans.

Mr. Weddington is an accomplished capital markets professional and has been involved in structured finance, acquisitions and investment sales platforms throughout his career, overseeing the origination and closing of $3.5 billion in commercial real estate assets and loans to-date.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Weddington was a key member of a top-performing CBRE Investment Sales group, where he managed the valuation, marketing and closing of individual assignments exceeding $2.5 billion across all commercial asset classes.

Before being recruited to CBRE, Mr. Weddington worked on acquisitions for the Ardent Companies, an Atlanta-based private equity firm. He was directly involved in the deployment of over $250 million in equity to acquire real property and performing/nonperforming debt opportunities and to originate senior debt and preferred equity positions secured by real estate.
