Ben Waiss

Ben began his professional career as a Civil Engineer, but after five years in the industry, he realized his lifelong passion was commercial real estate and made the switch. He joined Tarragon where he was able to leverage his engineering background while simultaneously gaining experience in many other aspects of the development process. Ben is currently focusing on Industrial Development in Pierce and Lewis County and has experience with suburban multi-family and single-family master-planned communities. He appreciates the holistic involvement in the development process that he gets in the CRE industry and feels that involvement is incredibly genuine at Tarragon. Ben earned his bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from Carroll College in Helena, Montana. He is an active member of NAIOP and previously held the Chair of the South Sound Committee. In his free time, Ben enjoys spending time with his family swimming, camping, chasing dinosaurs and monsters, as well as golfing, basketball, kiteboarding, house renovations, and keeping his roses alive.
