Ben Lathrop

Ben joined Bailard in 2019 as Vice President, Director of Business Development and Client Services. Based in New York, Ben is responsible for representing Bailard's real estate platform and expanding relationships with institutional investors, investment consultants, and other financial institutions.Before joining Bailard, Ben was a Managing Director of Business Development for NewOak Capital, where he developed a North America sales strategy focused on institutions and consultants. Previously, he served as Vice President, Product Manager for Real Estate and Infrastructure strategies at Franklin Templeton Investments. Prior to Franklin, Ben held senior roles with Apollo Global Management, Citi Property Investors, Bear Stearns Asset Management, U.S Trust, and State Street Research. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in History from Hamilton College. Away from the office, Ben enjoys traveling, spending time with family and coaching his sons' youth lacrosse teams.
