Bio
Ben Johnson is a Managing Director for the Capital Markets team in Newmark's Houston office. He is responsible for originating and transacting equity and debt capital for multifamily developers and owners. Prior to joining Newmark, Mr. Johnson was a Vice President of Development for Trammell Crow Residential - Gulf Coast Division. He previously served as a Director for Newmark and a Senior Associate for a boutique commercial mortgage banking firm. Since the start of his real estate career, Mr. Johnson has personally been involved in approximately $3.0 billion in capital markets and development transactions.
Education
A native Houstonian, Mr. Johnson received both his Master of Real Estate degree and Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Mays Business School at Texas A&M University.
