Ben Hawke

Ben Hawke serves as the Global Chief Accounting Officer and Principal Accounting Officer, where he oversees the company’s entire controllership function.

In his current role, he is responsible for critical areas including corporate accounting, external financial reporting and SEC compliance, technical accounting matters, mergers & acquisition support, and oversight of the company’s SOX program.

Ben joined JLL in early 2016 as a senior manager in Global Finance, progressing through several key roles at JLL before assuming his current position. Prior to his appointment in late 2021 as Chief Accounting Officer, Ben had most recently been the Assistant Global Controller.

Prior to JLL, Ben held managerial roles at CNA Insurance, where he oversaw investment accounting and external GAAP & SEC reporting, and started his career at Ernst & Young in their audit practice, primarily focused on banking and asset management.

Ben is a licensed CPA (Illinois) and holds both a Bachelor of Business Administration and a Master of Accounting from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.

Outside of his professional responsibilities, Ben enjoys playing tennis and is committed to community service. He actively volunteers to help lead the St. Alphonsus Oktoberfest festival in Chicago and serves on the trustee board for the Wisconsin Union Association affiliated with UW-Madison.
