Bio
Ben Brantley is a Vice President with CBRE's Industrial & Logistics group. Leveraging over 20 years of commercial real estate experience, Ben leads the Industrial Team in the Columbia market, providing a single source for property investors, owners, tenants and buyers. He combines his breadth of expertise, market knowledge and vast experience to effectively assist a full range of clients through the complexities of today's Industrial real estate market.
Ben is a representative of CBRE's Special Properties Group, which addresses the needs of clients with assets in secondary and tertiary markets.
Since 2016, he has closed over 95 transactions encompassing more than 2.7 million square feet throughout South Carolina. His vast range of experience includes the creation of CompeteSC, which successfully amended S.288 (Point of Sale Law), the development of a 132-acre industrial park in Partnership with City of Columbia and the acquisition and redevelopment of a 330,000-sq.-ft. former textile factory. Additionally, Ben is involved in the representation of the State of South Carolina for the development of the Comprehensive Property Valuation, Strategic Plan & Implementation Report, statewide Surplus Property dispositions totaling $23 million and the disposition of Port Royal.
