Ayesha Menon

Ayesha Menon is Senior Vice President, Strategic Investments at Welltower Inc, and leads strategic investments and platform alignments across the Company’s portfolio.

Prior to joining Welltower, Ms. Menon served as Director of Real Estate Investments at Sidewalk Labs, an Alphabet company (NASDAQ: GOOG). In this role, Ms. Menon oversaw real estate finance operations and worked closely with the firm’s innovation leads to facilitate technological developments in real estate and infrastructure for smart cities and buildings. She also served as the business and partnerships lead in the firm’s efforts to create a cutting edge, technology enabled prefabrication business. From 2008 – 2018, Ayesha was a real estate investor with Wheelock Street Capital. At Wheelock, Ms. Menon was responsible for all aspects of the investment cycle on both direct and joint venture investments. Her areas of specific focus included large, multi-cyclical land transactions, home building, condo development, retail investments, and affordable housing.

Prior to her tenure at Wheelock, Ms. Menon was an investor at New Mountain Capital. She began her career as an analyst in the Real Estate Investment Banking division of Goldman Sachs, where she completed over $8 billion of real estate advisory work. Ms. Menon holds an MBA from Stanford University, and a BSE in Civil Engineering from Princeton University.
