Bio

Austin Johnson is a Senior Vice President in the Real Estate Investment Banking practice, part of Capital Markets at JLL. Mr. Johnson focuses on providing structured finance solutions and private capital raising for the construction and/or financing of net leased properties predominantly for private and institutional investors, developers and corporate clients. He specializes in structuring credit tenant lease financing deals.

 

Prior to joining in March 2011, Mr. Johnson was an Analyst at Morgan Keegan & Company, Inc. While at Morgan Keegan, Mr. Johnson facilitated in the structuring and underwriting of over $3 billion in municipal securities transactions for numerous credit types and bond structures including, but not limited to, lease securitizations, economic development projects, tax increment financings as well as general obligation and revenue secured bonds. In addition to performing in his Analyst role, he also served as a senior member of the National Quant Group, providing analytics and municipal research across its national investment banking platform on assorted municipal financing programs and issuer types including state and local municipalities, public agencies, healthcare, higher education and other not-for-profit issuers.

 

Education and AffiliationsMr. Johnson received a BS in Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Christian Brothers University; he holds the Series 7, 79 and 63 securities licenses and is a member of the CCIM Institute, International Council of Shopping Centers and Urban Land Institute.
