Austin and John have significant experience in urban retail and food & beverage leasing as well as site disposition/acquisition assignments.
The team provides particular value by advising developers in the early stages of a project's lifecycle. They provide guidance ranging from pre-construction schematic design, to merchandising and economic expectations, all with the goal of optimizing the assignment's marketability. Austin and John are often selected to represent owners of significant retail developments in Nashville, such as Anchutz Entertainment Group's (AEG) new entertainment development located in Downtown Nashville, adjacent to Nashville Yards. AEG's development includes a substantial retail component intermixed with its 4,000-capacity performance venue, 325-key hotel and 90,000 sq ft. of office. Austin and John's team is responsible for leasing the project's 120,000 sq. ft. of retail, entertainment, and food & beverage spaces.
The team's experience level of leasing retail within mixed-use projects extends to virtually every property use category, including residential, office, hospitality, parking structures and even performance venues. The team continues to list and complete the largest number of retail leasing assignments in Nashville's urban core.
