Bio
Arvind Chary is the Managing Partner & Co-Founder of Atlas Real Estate Partners. Arvind is focused on the firm’s strategic initiatives, acquisitions, financing, and new capital relationships. Prior to forming Atlas, Arvind was the Director of Acquisitions at WL Capital, an owner-operator of student housing throughout the United States. In this role, he led a team that built WL into one of the largest owners of student housing in the country. Prior to joining WL, Arvind worked in originations in the CMBS group at Countrywide Commercial Real Estate Finance, Inc., where he was part of a team that issued over $2B of Commercial Mortgage Backed Securities. Arvind began his career at Boston Capital, one of the top five largest owners of multifamily in the U.S.
Arvind holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Tufts University and an MBA from Columbia Business School with a concentration in Real Estate and Entrepreneurship. Arvind is the founder of the Tufts Real Estate Network, founder of the New York South Asian Real Estate Network, Co-Chair of the Covenant House Real Estate Executive Charity Sleep Out and former President of the Columbia Business School Real Estate Association. He was a semi-finalist for Entrepreneur of the Year by Ernst & Young and selected as a 2015 Emerging Multifamily Leader.
