Anthony Valenzuela is an Executive Managing Director with Newmark’s Capital Markets Debt & Structured Finance team. Based in Phoenix, Valenzuela leverages extensive product expertise, deep relationships, underwriting experience, and accountability, to consistently deliver tailored debt and equity solutions for clients. He is a market leader and expert in the origination of niche multifamily agency programs including green, value-add, preferred equity, and near stabilized loans. Throughout his career Valenzuela has played a vital role in the successful placement of over $6 billion of debt and equity across a wide range of capital platforms and property types. Valenzuela joins Newmark from CBRE where he was a Senior Vice President in the firm’s debt & structured finance division. Prior to his transition into mortgage banking, Valenzuela was a leader in the commercial valuation business where was recognized on a national level and held several senior level positions, earned his MAI designation, and provided expert witness testimony.
