Bio
An accomplished professional with more than 28 years of commercial real estate finance experience, McCartney has closed more than $2 billion in debt and equity transactions throughout her career. In her new role, she will continue to originate new debt & equity transactions for the team as well as assist in the management of the team's pipeline. For the past 23 years, Rocco Mandala has been a top performer for CBRE nationally (Top 3% of all disciplines in 2017) and one of the top debt & equity producing teams in the Phoenix office for more than 10 years. Additionally, the team offers a broad platform of services, including permanent, bridge, mezzanine and construction financing, fixed- and floating-rate alternatives, and equity and structured financing.
McCartney joined CBRE from Cushman & Wakefield where she held the position of Managing Director. During her tenure at Cushman & Wakefield, she oversaw the origination, underwriting, structuring and closing of debt and equity transactions across all product types of commercial real estate properties within the Equity, Debt & Structured Finance division. Immediately prior to this role, McCartney founded Lighthouse Commercial Finance, a commercial mortgage banking firm where she was responsible for all aspects of operations. Before that, McCartney served as Senior Vice President of a regional bank, where she originated and managed construction and commercial real estate loans, and as Senior Vice President of a $730 million private equity debt firm, where she served on the firm's Investment Committee.
McCartney previously served as president of AZCREW and has held numerous leadership positions with the National Network of Commercial Real Estate Women, Urban Land Institute, LAI and the Arizona Commercial Mortgage Lenders Association. Currently, she serves on the boards of ASU Research Park and Gabriel's Angels.
McCartney is a graduate of Arizona State University and earned her MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management.
