Andy Kwon

Mr. Kwon joined Garrison in June 2007 and is head of the real estate equity platform and is responsible for both the acquisition and asset management functions. Mr. Kwon has originated, structured, underwritten and closed equity and debt investments across essentially all property types with a focus on secondary markets. Mr. Kwon is a member of the Firm's Management and Investment Committees.Prior to joining Garrison, Mr. Kwon was a Vice President at Urban Residential, where he led the acquisition effort in primary markets including ground-up development and conversion opportunities for residential and mixed-use hospitality projects. Prior to Urban Residential, Mr. Kwon was an Analyst with Bear Stearns in the Large Loan Group, where he was responsible for underwriting fixed and floating rate transactions and assisted in originations of commercial mortgages. Prior to Bear Stearns, Mr. Kwon was a real estate financial analyst with Hatfield Philips. Mr. Kwon received a B.A. with distinction from Duke University and is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers and the Urban Land Institute.
