Andres Scaminaci

Andres Scaminaci is a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Melody. He is also a member of Melody's Investment Committee. Mr. Scaminaci has over 20 years experience in structured finance, credit trading, and law. Prior to founding Melody, Mr. Scaminaci was a Managing Director at UBS Investment Bank, most recently serving as Americas Co-head of the Special Situations Group and head of the New York office. Prior to joining UBS, Mr. Scaminaci was Head of Illiquid Credit Structuring for Latin America at Merrill Lynch. He also served on the Emerging Markets Structured Credit Team at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Scaminaci began his career as an attorney. He was worked for Akin Gump, Thelen Reid, and Bazan Cambre & Orts with a focus on corporate and project finance. Mr. Scaminaci was licensed to practice law in both New York and Argentina. Mr. Scaminaci holds a law degree from the Universidad de Buenos Aires and a Masters in Laws from Southern Methodist University.
