Bio

Amira Yunis is an Executive Vice President in CBRE's Retail Services Group. She is known for her dynamic vision and intimate knowledge of high-street retail markets nationwide. Her vast experience includes procuring flagship stores and restaurants, executing numerous national rollouts, and introducing new and foreign retailers to the market.  While most of her transactions are in New York, her work and influence shapes the retail landscape across the nation.

Ms. Yunis' specialty is to form lasting partnerships with the landlords she represents, working with these landlords to create sustainable retail tenancies that will thrive in New York's ever-changing retail landscape. Ms. Yunis boasts an impressive landlord representation roster having worked for clients such as Callahan Capital Properties, Ivanhoe Cambridge, Principal Investors, APF Properties, The Durst Organization, Archon Group, DVL Incorporated, Joseph P Day, Extell Development, NYU, Olnick, Starrett Development, Steinberg & Pokoik and W&H Properties. Noteworthy transactions include: the H&M flagship at 4 Times Square; 575 Madison Avenue to Breitling, Lacoste and First Republic Bank; and Patagonia in Meatpacking, SoHo and the Bowery.

A sampling of noteworthy tenant rep transactions includes: several locations for Urbanspace at 230 Park Avenue and 570 Lexington; Tommy Bahama's multilevel flagship and restaurant at 551 Fifth Avenue; the national rollout for Joe & the Juice, numerous locations for Aldo, Fossil and Skagen; The Capital Grille's three Manhattan locations; Patagonia; Theory; over 52 locations for Le Pain Quotidien; and Gucci in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Ms. Yunis began her illustrious retail career at Newmark Knight Frank, where she had most recently served as an Executive Vice President and Principal. Ms. Yunis won the Real Estate Board of New York's (REBNY) 2006 Ingenious Deal of the Year Award for representing New York University in bringing Trader Joe's to its first Manhattan location at 14th Street.  She is a member of REBNY and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC). Additionally, Ms. Yunis serves as a trustee of the Fifth Avenue Presbyterian Church and as a Chairperson and Board Member for the Sarcoma Foundation of America.

In addition to her REBNY Deal of the Year win, Ms. Yunis has been recognized by Crain's New York Business in its 40-Under-40 Award (2006); Real Estate New York's Women of Influence (2007, 2008 and 2010); since her tenure began at CBRE, Ms. Yunis has been awarded the Coldwell Circle of CBRE's Top Producers (2013-2017), New York Moves' Power Women (2008 and 2012), and Costar's Top Retail Leasing Brokers (2007-2017).
