Alison Garcia

Alison Garcia is a Principal and Member of the Investment Committee of Meadow Partners and is Head of Business Development and Investor Relations for the firm. Prior to joining Meadow Partners, Ms. Garcia was the Director of Real Estate for the North Carolina Department of State Treasurer. As Director, she led total capital commitments in excess of $5 billion. In her role managing the $8 billion real estate portfolio, she was responsible for portfolio construction and risk assessment. Prior to joining North Carolina Department of State Treasurer, Ms. Garcia was Director of Asset Management for CommonWealth Partners in Los Angeles. Ms. Garcia also previously held various real estate investment positions with MetLife in Los Angeles and CGR Advisors and The Portman Companies in Atlanta. She started her career in the tax division of Arthur Andersen in Atlanta. Ms. Garcia received a B.S. in Commerce from the McIntire School of the University of Virginia in 1984. Ms. Garcia is a Certified Public Accountant, inactive status.
