Alexandra Smiley

Alex Smiley joined HRP in March 2019, initially to provide administrative support to the development team, working closely with Executive Vice President Jeremy Grey. Alex’s role quickly expanded, and she was promoted to Development Coordinator. Alex took on additional responsibilities outside of the scope of her role on the development team, serving as a liaison and point of contact for company communications and marketing initiatives. In September 2021, Alex was named Communications Manager, joining Senior Vice President of Brand Communications Ella Hoffman, to build out HRP’s Communications Department. Alex’s responsibilities involve supporting all public reputation, corporate partnership, and branding efforts across the company’s portfolio. Alex graduated from the University of Vermont with a degree in Environmental Studies and Community & International Development. She has a diverse working background ranging from the non-profit sector to real estate to working on farms and greenhouses.
