Bio
A Senior Vice President in CBRE’s Midtown Manhattan office, Alex works with tenants in a wide range of industries to plan and execute real estate strategies. His in-depth market knowledge combined with the breadth of resources at CBRE allow him to provide his clients with a unique and creative approach to identifying results-driven solutions. Alex is a diligent, ‘boots on the ground’ broker—always keeping his finger on the pulse of the New York market to uncover new opportunities. His persistent efforts on behalf of his clients provides a significant advantage—ensuring that no stone is left unturned.
Alex specializes in representing tenants in the acquisition and disposition of commercial properties and office space and strives to develop the most effective solutions for relocations, expansions, consolidations, renewals, occupancy cost reductions and lease negotiations. He plays an integral role in generating new business and enhancing CBRE’s local market outreach, while adding significant value to existing client assignments. Current tenant rep clients include Publicis, Rent the Runway, the Consulate of Japan, The Body Shot, SimilarWeb, Empyrean Capital and Cambridge.
In addition to his tenant-representation work, Alex also works with some of New York City’s most notable landlords. He currently represents Brookfield Properties at The Grace Building at 1114 Avenue of the Americas and 1 New York Plaza, a Downtown Manhattan property that encompasses nearly 2.5 million square feet of office space. At these properties, he has brought a significant number of new tours and proposals since joining the agency team, helping to increase the building’s visibility in the crowded NYC office market. Alex has also represented Related Companies, Oxford Properties and Mitsui Fudoson as part of the leasing team for the Hudson Yards development in Manhattan—assisting in the leasing of more than 2.5 million square feet.
In 2018, Alex was recognized by the Commercial Observer as one of the “30 Under 30” brokers to watch; and he was named Manhattan Associate of the Year by CBRE in 2015. Prior to joining CBRE, Alex was with JLL where he was a member of the firm’s prestigious “Rising Stars” panel—a group of young JLL brokers selected to meet periodically to discuss various internal issues and provide input on how to further the company’s growth in the market through new business development efforts.
