Alex Witt is an Executive Vice President in the Real Estate Investment Banking practice in San Francisco, where he specializes in the placement of debt and equity for real estate investors. Alex has been particularly active raising joint venture equity and construction financing for new development. He has helped clients capitalize speculative office developments and the first residential condo towers in San Francisco and Los Angeles after the Great Recession.

Alex joined JLL in Houston in May 2010 helping the co-heads expand JLL's REIB footprint nationally. Alex transferred to San Francisco in late 2011 helping to start the Bay Area REIB practice. Prior to JLL Alex was an associate with Countrywide Commercial Real Estate Finance and GE Commercial Finance in the Bay Area and Los Angeles. As an Associate, Alex underwrote, originated and structured loans for securitization and balance sheet purposes. Immediately prior to joining JLL, Alex assisted the FDIC in the transfer of REO assets from failed banks to acquiring institutions or FDIC receivership.
