Bio
Alex Vouvalides is a proven commercial real estate investor and operator with decades of experience and strong national tenant relationships. He is the Chief Executive Officer of EQ Office, a leader in creating inspiring workplace destinations and a Blackstone portfolio company. In this role, he oversees a portfolio of approximately 20 million-square-feet of premier office buildings primarily located in New York, Boston, Washington D.C., Chicago, Dallas, Seattle, San Francisco and Southern California.
In 2021, Alex co-founded Eagle Point Capital Partners, a real estate investment firm focused on acquiring, developing, and operating premier office properties in high-growth, technology-anchored innovation markets.
Previously, Alex served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Investment Officer at Hudson Pacific Properties (HPP), a publicly traded company that provides end-to-end real estate solutions for dynamic tech and media tenants. During his time at HPP, he was integral in shaping the company’s overall strategy, had direct day-to-day oversight of the firm’s investment activity and led the leasing and development departments.
Prior to HPP, Alex worked in the Real Estate Finance & Securitization Group at Credit Suisse in both the New York and Los Angeles offices, where he underwrote and closed major acquisition and recapitalization loans across various asset types including office, hotel, retail, land and construction. He also worked in the Technology, Media & Telecommunications Investment Banking group at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in New York.
He graduated from Emory University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science.
