Alex leads Catalyst’s investment platform by overseeing the diligence, underwriting, structuring, and execution for all of Catalyst’s acquisitions and developments.
With more than a decade of real estate finance experience, Alex has successfully executed over $1 billion of investment into real estate development and acquisition on behalf of private and institutional investors. Prior to joining Catalyst, Alex was a Director for a national conduit issuer and U.S. Treasury certified Community Development Entity. There he oversaw tax-exempt bond transactions and federal & state New Markets Tax Credit transactions. He was also the Compliance Officer for a portfolio of over $1 billion, assisted borrowers with asset management, reviewed asset progress during construction, and acted as disbursing agent for special construction projects.
Prior to his position as Director, Alex worked as a Senior Analyst and a Research Analyst for the same firm.
