Alan Schmerzler has a highly successful record representing Tenants and Landlords. Tenant clients include The Swatch Group, the largest manufacturer of watches globally and owner of nineteen different luxury brands including but not limited to Breguet, Omega and Blancpain. Mr. Schmerzler also represents Spanish apparel retailer Mango; and tenants such as JPMorgan Chase, Lillian August Designs, Raul Carrasco Designs and many others.

 

Mr. Schmerzler was recently involved in the leasing campaign for 222 Broadway, where he negotiated to bring apparel retailer Zara into a 30,000 square foot multi-level space that will serve as their Downtown flagship. He was also involved in the leasing campaign for 666 Fifth Avenue, where his efforts resulted in the completion of two of the largest, most expensive retail transactions ever completed in New York – Hollister in 22,500 sf; and Uniqlo in 90,000 sf.

Mr. Schmerzler was honored as the recipient of the Real Estate Board of New York's 2011 Most Creative Retail Deal of the Year award for leasing the historic Times Square Theatre on 42nd Street.
