Bio
Ms. Olejniczak joined Newport Capital Partners in 2020 and is Managing Director and Head of Asset Management. In this capacity, she is primarily responsible for implementing the Firm’s investment strategy and has oversight of property operations, leasing, and management. She is a member of the Investment Committee. Additionally, she shares responsibility with Newport Principals on portfolio management, capital markets, and investor relationships. Ms. Olejniczak has over 30 years of commercial real estate experience with demonstrated expertise in acquisitions, asset management, financial modeling, and development. Prior to joining Newport, she was an Executive Director with J.P. Morgan Asset Management responsible for a multi-asset portfolio in excess of $2.5 billion across core, value-add, and opportunistic investment strategies. Specifically, she executed 1.5 million square feet of leasing, led over $80 million in redevelopment projects, and oversaw design, development, and disposition of investments. Prior to joining JPM, Ms. Olejniczak was a Senior Managing Director with global real estate firm Hines and led the firm’s acquisitions and asset management efforts in the Midwest region. During her tenure at Hines, she managed a commercial real estate portfolio in excess of 8 million square feet, executed over $1 billion in acquisition and development transactions, and was the primary contact with investment partners. She also served on Hines’ Investment and Performance Committee and REIT Advisory Board. Ms. Olejniczak received both her Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and Master of Business Administration in Finance from DePaul University. She is a member of the Executives' Club of Chicago and an adjunct professor of Asset Management at Roosevelt University. Ms. Olejniczak supports nonprofit organizations including The Night Ministry.
