Adam Goodman

Since 2004, Adam has focused exclusively on retail real estate, building over 20 years of experience in retail tenant representation, landlord representation, surplus property disposition, investment sales, land assemblage, and market analysis throughout Michigan and beyond. His dedication to retail has made him a trusted advisor to landlords and tenants alike.

Adam began his real estate career with LaKritz-Weber & Company, where he learned the business and honed his skills alongside some of the industry’s top brokers. In 2011, he became a founding member of the Mid-America Real Estate-Michigan, Inc. office, and in 2023, he achieved an Ownership/Principal stake in the firm.

Over his career, Adam has worked with many of the country’s premier retailers and restaurants while representing some of Michigan’s largest and most experienced landlords. He has also successfully led market rollouts for several national brands, leveraging his extensive relationships, market knowledge, creativity, and drive to get deals done.

On the tenant side, Adam is actively working with retailers and restaurants throughout Michigan, including: Sweetgreen, Shake Shack, Chipotle, Condado Tacos, Maverik, Williams Sonoma Brands, Sleep Number, Urgent Vet, Xfinity, T-Mobile, Bibibop and Petco. Adam’s clients depend on his relationships, market knowledge, creativity and ability to get deals done. On the product side, Adam works with some of Michigan’s largest and most experienced landlords including: Inland, AF Jonna Development, Group 10 Management, Grand Sakwa Properties and many others.

Adam earned his JD from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and his Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Eastern Michigan University. He is an active member of ICSC and ChainLinks Retail Advisors, staying engaged with the latest developments in the retail real estate industry. Adam resides in West Bloomfield, Michigan, with his wife, Stacey, and their two children, Noah and Sydney.
