Biography
David began his career as an analyst with Meridian Capital Group where he specialized in the underwriting and financing of commercial and multifamily assets. While at Meridian, David successfully negotiated loan terms on secured fixed rate, floating rate, construction, mezzanine, and acquisition loans throughout the U.S.
Having financed assets through the cyclical peaks and troughs of the market, David continued his career at Greystone & Co., where he maintained a focus on agency and in-house underwriting, enabling him to identify risks for acquisition and refinance transactions, based on property performance, tenant credit, local market trends and macro-economic variables. At Greystone, David developed the underwriting models and HUD/agency packages to analyze property level valuation, economics and operations.
David is responsible for the underwriting and analyses for each of the loans that are negotiated on behalf of Carnegie Capital's clients. In addition, David maintains direct oversight of the financing programs available to Carnegie Capital.
David graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Rutgers University and earned his Masters of Science in Real Estate Finance and Investment from New York University. In between transactions, David enjoys learning about F-1 technology and automotive engineering. Prior to his professional career, David has also volunteered as an emergency medical technician.
