Bio
Jake is the Vice President of Capital Markets at Speedwagon Capital Partners where he is responsible for cultivating select debt and equity partnerships to invest alongside SCP’s internal capital.
Prior to joining Speedwagon, Jake was a founding team member and Director of Acquisitions at Decennial Group. In that role, Jake led the firm's investment process; fostering relationships with developers, brokers, and landowners to source, underwrite, structure, diligence and close acquisitions nationally. Additionally, Jake supported fundraising activities at Decennial, facilitating capital raises of over $100M.
Prior to the creation of Decennial, Jake was a Project Coordinator at Farpoint Development, overseeing a number of the firm's development activities throughout Chicago and its surrounding suburbs. While at Farpoint, he coordinated the development team for the Bronzeville Lakefront site, a 100-acre project on the south side of Chicago. He also collaborated with the City of Chicago to create their bid for the “Amazon HQ2” competition.
Jake earned a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
