The Hotel is located off I-75 in the center of the Forum District, a mixed-use development with retail, residential, senior living, and office suites spanning 706 acres. Also within proximity to the hotel is Fort Myer’s famous River District and Fort Myers Beach, which help the area draw 5-million visitors annually, contributing to over $3.7 billion in visitor spending, annually.

In November 2024, Amazon announced plans to build a state-of-the-art robotics fulfillment center on a 140+-acre site at 10631 State Road 82 for $66.5 million. The planned facility will span approximately 650,000 square feet and is expected to create over 1,000 full-time jobs. Construction is slated to begin in early 2025, with the facility anticipated to be operational by mid-2027. The Hotel features concrete block construction in a designated FEMA Area of Minimal Flood Hazard, defined as a minimal risk area outside of the 1-percent and 0.2-percent annual chance floodplains, and is s being offered at significant a discount to replacement cost.
