Cushman & Wakefield has been exclusively retained by Chafia Capital Partners LLC and Shaner Hotel Group to arrange up to $85.0 million of LP Equity for the $257 million ($482,000 per key) construction of the Beyond Hotel at the American Dream Meadowlands (the “Property” or “Asset”). This Project provides investors with the unique opportunity to participate in the most exciting hotel development project in the New York Tri-State region, and the only hotel attached to the American Dream complex, the second largest retail & entertainment complex in the United States.

 

American Dream is one of the most dynamic mixed-use projects in the world, and the newest entertainment and amenity driven retail complex in the United States that combines the best of global retail, premier indoor attractions, destination dining, the arts, and entertainment. The landmark complex totals more than 3 million square feet that is comprised of 50% retail and 50% entertainment creating an emerging global business and vacation destination with 40+ million annual projected visitors, of which tourism accounts for over 50%. 

 

The proposed 26-story Property will be the centerpiece of the American Dream and the only hotel in the entire Meadowlands complex. Directly connected to the main entrance of American Dream and the luxury retail wing of the complex, the Property will be a dual-branded Marriott-affiliated Hotel comprised of a 242 room Autograph and a 291 room AC hotel, two of the industry’s most highly desired upscale boutique brands. The Property will also feature 27,700 square feet of flexible meeting space, expansive public and common areas, 500+ dedicated parking spaces with valet parking, a state-of the-art fitness center, and numerous destination food and beverage outlets, highlighted by an expansive rooftop bar with unparalleled views of the NYC skyline.
