BRAND AND MANAGEMENT UPSIDE
Once the Hotel’s franchise license expires, the new owner will have the optionality of renewing the Courtyard by Marriott contract or pursuing an alternative brand with Wyndham, Choice or Sonesta. If new ownership decides to rebrand the Hotel, there are PIP and operational costs savings through brands such as Wyndham Garden, Ascend Collection, or Sonesta Select. Additionally, under new management, the new owner will have the opportunity to improve on efficiencies and lower costs compared to those of a larger, institutional management company.
CONNECTED CONVENTION CENTER DEMAND
The Geary County Convention Center is ideally located close to large employers and attractions such as Fort Riley, Kansas State University, and Milford Lake. With generous meeting space available by way of the connected convention center, the Hotel is primed to capture additional revenue not typically captured by a select-service hotel.
