Zurich Alternative Asset Management, LLC ("ZAAM") is a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich Insurance Group ("Zurich”).

The ZAAM® alternative investment platform was established to manage investments solely for Zurich affiliates worldwide in alternative asset classes.

ZAAM's strategy for U.S. Real Estate is consistent with Investment Management's global strategy for Real Estate investments. Totaling over 200 properties in 30 states, our U.S. real estate portfolio aggregates over 20 million square feet of commercial real estate space. As owners of attractive non-core positions in addition to targeted core positions, we are active sellers and buyers of assets, and our team of Real Estate professionals is also active in executing workout strategies within our existing portfolio.

We seek to achieve superior risk-adjusted returns in executing a core, direct real estate investment strategy in small to mid-sized opportunities in targeted markets and sub-markets including Boston, New York, Washington DC, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland, San Diego, Denver, Houston, Miami and Philadelphia.
