Whitman Peterson is a real estate private equity company making and actively managing opportunistic real estate investments on behalf of institutional investors. We are passionately focused on achieving top-tier returns, while maintaining a wide margin of safety against under-performance or loss. The firm was founded by Bob Whitman, Wes Whitman, and Joel Peterson in October 2010. Since that time, we have have raised 5 investment vehicles, including 4 opportunity funds and one core-plus side-car fund (made up of existing opportunity-fund LPs). Our principals have deep experience starting, building, financing, scaling, and managing significant investment and operating businesses. In addition, we have been fortunate to attract a diverse and truly outstanding team of great human beings from all over the world.
