Weiss Entities (WE) is a privately-held company. We are the stakeholders and we make every decision based on firm priorities.

These priorities have always been to develop, acquire, renovate and self-manage real estate to meet the needs of a community and the people who live in it. People are our bottom line.

Over 75 Years of History -from grocery stores to multifamily communities.

In the 1940’s, Weiss opened a single grocery. With “customer first” principles, that single store grew to become one of the most successful independent chains in Northwest Indiana.

Today, our diversified land development portfolio, which includes retail and commercial property, is primarily focused on multifamily apartment communities. In fact, since 2012, we have created multiple apartment developments in the Indiana and Chicago area with more on the way. Each one constructed to high standards, with a variety of floor plans, extensive amenities and, most importantly, each one is managed with the same “customer first” principles we established over 75 years ago.
