VBC was established in 1971 by Myron Van Buskirk, and to this day the family-operated business is considered one of the most respected real estate development and commercial construction companies in the area. With Myron mostly behind the scenes these days, his three sons continue to operate VBC modeling the same values of leadership and integrity. To date, Van Buskirk Companies has developed eighteen neighborhoods, sold over 3,000 home sites, built and manages over a million square feet of commercial space, and has been responsible for creating some of the region’s most in-demand commercial properties, including Lake Lorraine and The Bridges at 57th Street.
