Schostak has had a footprint in Michigan for nearly 100 years. Since 1920, the now fourth generation family-based company out of Livonia, MI has included development, acquisitions and leasing of retail, office, industrial, residential, mixed use projects both urban and suburban. Schostak’s current activities include joint ventures, build to suit projects, mixed use developments, and a variety of necessity-based retail and open air centers in 24 states. We are progressing with a growth strategy based on the acquisition of stabilized shopping centers, and has recently completed over $300 million of acquisitions in 17 states. The company plans to continue to acquire at least $100 million of shopping center assets each year and is assembling one of the largest portfolios of Wal-Mart shadow-anchored centers in the nation.
