Protea Properties is a San Diego-based and privately held real estate investment, development and management group with over 20 years’ experience in retail, mixed-use, office, hospitality and residential markets. At Protea, we seek to provide a successful and effective vehicle for investing in quality real estate with genuine growth prospects and added-value potential across various sectors. We are currently introducing superior development projects to various San Diego locations. Along with major mixed-use and medical office projects in Bay Park, Kearny Mesa and National City, Protea is also privileged to be part of the development team known as ‘Seaport San Diego’ with plans to redevelop some 70-acres of San Diego’s prime waterfront. Protea creates lasting partnerships that yield successful results. We have teamed up with PrimeWest, one of Australia’s most active private real estate investment and development managers, participating in a selectively sourced and diverse range of retail, office, and industrial properties located throughout the U.S. In a joint venture with Malick Infill Development, we are creating a catalytic mixed-use development in downtown National City that will include a variety of housing types and commercial spaces.
