Prima Capital Advisors LLC ("Prima") is an investment advisory firm that specializes in commercial real-estate debt investments, including whole loans, commercial mortgage-backed securities, select commercial mortgage "B" notes, mezzanine loans, bonds, and preferred shares issued by real estate investment trusts. Prima's funds under management currently total approximately $ 5 billion. These investments are made on a discretionary basis for a number of large investors, including public and corporate pension funds, insurance companies, and off-shore investors. Prima also manages a non-discretionary commercial mortgage investment management account on behalf of a large U.S. public pension fund.
