Plaza Advisors is a boutique real estate investment sales firm specializing in multi-tenant retail dispositions. Over the past seven years, the Company has completed over $1.5 billion in retail dispositions and has represented seven of the top twelve retail owners in the United States. The firm’s geographic area of focus is primarily within Florida. Our clients include pension fund advisors, public and private REITs, life insurance companies, developers, national banks and private investors.

Jim Michalak founded Plaza Advisors in 2006 following a nine year tenure at Cushman & Wakefield in Tampa where he assisted in building out their retail investment sales group for the State of Florida. Mr. Michalak has more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience and has specialized in the disposition of shopping centers for the past 26 years. He has directly been involved in more than $1.5 billion in retail dispositions throughout the southeastern US.
