PILOT Real Estate Group LLC is a private real estate investment firm created through the merger of resources of several families that have been active real estate developers, owners and operators for many years. The senior partners each have 30+ years of experience across a broad spectrum of real estate assets and have participated in opportunistic investments of different types, sizes and geographies.

PILOT's team takes pride in its ability to be nimble, thoughtful and creative in complex situations that require a capital provider or partner which has the experience, depth and flexibility to take advantage of varying opportunities in the marketplace as it evolves.

As capital providers, PILOT has originated short term senior and subordinate financing and has proven to be effective, efficient, and reliable. As partners, PILOT has provided its capital as well as its expertise as operators and creative deal-makers. PILOT has invested equity/JV equity, and sponsor equity in value-add opportunities involving land, multifamily, student housing, hospitality, industrial, office, retail, and structured note purchases. The assets in which PILOT has invested have primarily been transitional in nature and include developments, repositionings, rezonings and distressed assets.

PILOT's mission is to foster strong relationships with borrowers, sponsors, partners, and brokers through these transactions. Through these relationships, PILOT has invested in New York, Connecticut, Illinois, Michigan, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Florida. PILOT's balance sheet, experience, and wide industry network enable it to structure, capitalize, and add value to unique and complicated real estate transactions while PILOT's use of its own discretionary capital adds dimensions of creativity, speed, and reliability to transactions in which it participates.
