Founded in 1995, Pierce Education Properties (PEP) took its platform national in 2006. More than a decade later, we've grown into one of the nation's leading buyers of student housing, and we've since acquired more than $1 Billion of purpose-built student housing.

We target Core, Core-Plus, and Value-Add Student Apartment properties in joint venture with our capital partners. With an acquisition history of more than 27,000 acquired beds, we're one of the fastest growing student housing companies in the nation.

With decades of experience in university real estate, PEP also develops and provides advisory services for student housing, Greek housing, and university real estate projects. For over 10 years, PEP served as Master Developer of the College Community Redevelopment Project together with the San Diego State University Foundation. PEP’s leadership has fostered the acquisition, entitlement, planning, development, and construction of several billion dollars of planned and completed student housing and university-supporting real estate projects.

Since 2010, PEP has annually been ranked by Student Housing Business Magazine as one of the Top 25 Owners and Managers of Student Housing in the U.S.
