Mattiace Properties, Inc., founded in 1979, maintains its headquarters in Downtown Jackson, Mississippi. Since 1985, the area of concentration has been on upscale shopping centers, retail strip shopping centers, malls, office buildings and industrial sites for major development activity in Mississippi, Tennessee and Louisiana. The Southeast's commercial real estate industry has often been on a different cycle from the rest of the country. Knowledge of this sector and strong tenant relationships, combined with the best people, has been key in the company’s development of more than 5,000,000 square feet. The acquisition of two companies in the late nineties brought together a team of professional property managers, leasing and brokerage professionals, and finance and accounting professionals.
