Manarino Realty

Corona Del Mar, CA

From 1995 to 2006, we collaborated to develop over $500 million (8 projects) with Cousins Properties. In December of 2006, Robert Manarino partnered with four of the nation's most successful and proven industry leaders, Richard Ziman, (UCLA Ziman Anderson School of Real Estate), and Victor Coleman (Hudson Capital), both formerly of Arden Realty, and John Long and Jack Mahoney, CEO of Highridge Partners also cofounder of Golden Boy Partners and Summit Commercial respectively, to form Manarino Realty. This combination created a highly-seasoned alliance of diverse and visionary individuals unparalleled in the real estate industry. From 2006 to 2009, we had several new projects in planning including a major mixed-use project in Boyle Heights. Due to the economic downturn from 2008 to 2011 we were forced to abandon these projects. In 2010, we partnered with Lehman Brothers now Silverpeak to pursue the highest and best use for the former Boeing site in Downey, Calif., known as The Promenade at Downey. Entitlements were achieved in 2012/2013. Promenade at Downey opened in 2017 and is now hugely successful. Tenants include: Walmart, HomeGoods, T. J. Maxx, 24 Hour Fitness, Burlington, Cinemark Theatres, Ruby’s Diner, Panera Bread, Five Guys, Benihana, and Lazy Dog Café. We also collaborated with Prudential and Cousins to reposition Los Altos Market Center in Long Beach. We opened the nation's first healthcare community clinic, Memorial Care, in a former Borders Books space. In 2016 to current, we formed a strategic alliance with Lennar Multifamily Communities (LMC), a division of Lennar Homes, the nation’s largest homebuilder. LMC is consistently ranked in the top five multifamily developers in the nation. Manarino Realty is spearheading devolepment and leasing of the retail component containing approximately 60 communities nationwide on behalf of LMC. The retail component has the potential to be approximately 1 million square feet of space.
