The James Campbell Company LLC is a private, Hawai’i-based, nationally diversified real estate company with assets in Washington, D.C., and 12 states across the U.S. These assets include office, industrial, retail, and ground lease properties, as well as developable land in Kapolei, Hawai’i.

The portfolio is valued at $3.8 billion as of December 31, 2020 and currently totals 22 million square feet of buildings and 12.3 million square feet of ground leases. In Hawai’i, the Company owns 2,680 acres of land in total.

The Company has two operating divisions: Real Estate Investment Management (REIM) and Kapolei Properties Division (KPD). REIM manages the Company’s portfolio of high quality income-producing real estate assets in 12 states and Washington, D.C. KPD is focused on the developable and leasable property in and around the City of Kapolei on the island of O’ahu, as well as on economic development and job creation in the Kapolei Region.

In 2007, the James Campbell Company succeeded the Estate of James Campbell, a 107-year-old private trust that was the legacy of one of Hawai’i’s foremost business pioneers. The Estate played a pivotal role in Hawai’i’s history, from the growth of sugar plantations to the development of the City of Kapolei.
