Horne Properties, Inc. is a full-service real estate development and management company based in Knoxville, Tennessee. Horne Properties, Inc. has developed well over one-hundred properties across the United States. Since our inception in 1981, Horne Properties, Inc. has always maintained a strong commitment to conservative, non-speculative real estate investments. Most of our developments are anchored by investment-grade, industry-leading retailers. The relationships with these retailers are established and maintained by our highly successful Development Managers. Along with maintaining relationships, our development managers oversee all work necessary to accomplish a successful construction loan closing. This includes negotiating contracts to purchase the necessary land, tenant leases, coordinating civil and architectural design of sites and buildings, zoning, obtaining highway access and appropriate utilities, and coordinating developments with public officials. The Leasing and Property Management Division of Horne Properties, Inc. is committed to servicing commercial and office developments. The strength of this Division is its continued monitoring and servicing of the retail industry to meet the special needs of local, regional and national retail tenants. Each tenant is assigned key individuals of the site-specific Leasing and Property Management Team to resolve any problems or issues that may arise during the lease term. A member of the Leasing and Property Management Team visits each location to ensure that the Properties are being maintained in first-class condition and that our tenants are pleased with our efforts.
