Today the family owns a focused real estate portfolio that includes income-producing multi-family assets in the Pacific Northwest. Its platform is unique, allowing the family and co-investors to carefully identify, underwrite, acquire, manage and strategically determine the timing around an exit through its sponsor vehicle, CEP Multifamily. This cradle-to-grave platform has served the family and investors who have joined them on the journey quite well.

Going forward the family seeks to diversify its real estate holdings by continuing to acquire more multi-family assets in the Pacific Northwest as well as other geographically diverse locations. The Coast Group of Companies is a collection of five distinct divisions supporting the commercial real estate community throughout the Pacific Northwest and beyond. Our services include property management, equity investments, commercial brokerage services, construction services and facilities management. The collection of divisions works collaboratively to “Simplify the Complexity of Commercial Real Estate” for clients. Combined the leadership represents hundreds of years’ experience navigating the real estate market. Our investment thesis has been honed over the past 30+ years of investing and managing a variety of real estate assets through the Pacific Northwest. The formation of the family office structure in 2017 allowed HFO to design a broad investment strategy that assessed the risks and opportunities of a wider spectrum of investment channels. With a deep concentration in commercial real estate, HFO has enjoyed remarkable returns over the past three decades that has resulted in a portfolio of assets today that serves as the foundation of our investments.
