Incorporated in 1993, GWL Realty Advisors is a real estate company focused on growth, committed to sustainability, and dedicated to delivering strong, long-term returns for its clients. To do this, we look for opportunities, at home and abroad, to expand our portfolio, initiate rewarding partnerships and establish new investment platforms for our clients. We act as trusted stewards of our clients’ assets and the places where our tenants work and our residents live.

Building upon our existing operations in Canada, GWL Realty Advisors entered the U.S. in 2018 with the acquisition of EverWest Real Estate Investors (EverWest). In 2019, Guggenheim Real Estate LLC (GRE), the real estate private equity platform of Guggenheim Investments, was acquired and fully integrated into EverWest. In 2021, Great-West LifeCo Inc. announced a long-term strategic partnership with Sagard Holdings (Sagard) which included the sale of EverWest.

Providing opportunities for our clients to invest in the U.S. real estate market continues to be a priority for GWL Realty Advisors. Although EverWest is no longer a subsidiary of GWL Realty Advisors, we maintain a close working relationship to advance the U.S. investment mandates on behalf of our existing and new clients.
